Coach Swim
i want to be a swim coach. Do you need a collage degree to become a high school swim choach, or even collage?
I've been swimming since i was 5 years old and i love the sport. im about to ETS from the army and i was wonderin what type of degree i need to coach high school or collage swimming. It the only thing i love to do and i want to be around the water till i cant anymore. can any one help me out.
I wouldn't worry about it. You can't even spell "college," much less get a degree from one.
Or were you looking for a college where one can major in collage?

British Olympic Swim Team - Coach's Swim-Off
What type of questions should I ask a swim coach? (Newspaper)?
I have to do an article for my school newspaper about the our school's swim team..
Recently they had a tri-meet, us vs. another vs. another.
What should I ask the coach? I know to ask the exact scores, (we beat one school, lost to another)
But what else should/can I ask?
P.S I have no knowledge of the sport, so a hefty explanation is needed!
Well it depends on how big your school is and how good the swimmers are, but I'd start just by asking him how they did individually in each event. The individual events (races among single swimmers) in high school are the 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 500 Free, 100 breast, 100 back, 100 fly, and 200 IM. The relays (4 swimmers evenly splitting a race) are the 200 free relay (each swimmer does 50 yards of free stlye), 400 free relay, and 200 medley relay (back, breast, fly, free). Ask the coach for the teams top finisher, and their time, in each event, that'll take up a lot of space. Do the same for the relays. Also ask him if any landmark times were reached (pool records, school records, state qualifying times, all american consideration, all american, etc.), and highlight those. He'll know what you mean if you list those names off, but in a dual meet I doubt anyone will get any of those except maybe state qualifying. Other than that, just describe how close it was, who scored the most points for their team, etc.
