I need to become stronger ? help please !?
Okay so im in 8th grade and 13 years old, and swim an average of 3250 meters each night (about 2 miles, or 130 laps) i am the second youngest in my group, most people are sophmores. this is gonna sound like im bragging, but i can kick like crazyyy! i can easily beat everyone when doing kickboards, even the senior girl in our group. but i am SO WEAK ! really, i go from being fist on the kickboards to being lapped with pull bouys. this hurts me in the meets a lot! i need advice on how i can become stronger to improve my times.
I have a big meet at the end of this month, so whatever i can do to improve my strength would be great !

Well like anything, you need to work on your weakness to make it stronger, so try to use pull bouys more, also try to improve your diet to more like a gym diet and include lots of protein in your diet so that you can become stronger, quicker. Also you just need to keep pushing and pushing yourself until you hurt, although people do recommend that your give it a day between exercise sessions because otherwise your body does not have time to repair properly.
So basically more high intensity swims using bouys, like every other day, and improve your diet.

I mean what are they used for
You put the pull buoy in between your legs. It can be placed right at your thigh or down by your ankles, it depends what muscles you'd like to work harder.
Pull buoys keep your legs still, they are used for when you do pull exercises. Buoys also keep your legs in a streamline position to eliminate drag or legs that sway around in the water as you pull.
