When my footsteps were tied down by the memories
I ran across the desert
I don't want to become so small that I am unable to find myself

There is more than one type of so-called happiness
The beautiful spring, summer, autumn, winter, and falling leaves are mine
I only understand what a dream is after experiencing it for myself
i'm not too sure, but they are good. Thanks!
they are nice, but i see no rhymes or anything? but anyway, im guessing the person is reminiscing the horrible past and finally got confidence after going through some sort of epiphany type of event, possibly a dream which made them get up and stand up for themselves.

A light mist, the caressing kiss of gentle rain
The silhouette of birds singing
As they play among the leaves
Carried upon the breeze
The gentle nature of the meadow echoes in the wind
The morning dew that glistens within the morning light
Beneath the rising sun the meadow blossoms
As the spring bulbs
Reach up towards the sky
Amidst the new horizon
The clouds drift so slowly by
Where once the tears of heaven fell
Harmony now dwells
As the breeze rustles through the leaves
The swaying trees rock gently with such grace and ease
Beside the brook the tricking water
Passes amongst the cobblestones
Spring reminds me of this place, I used to know
For in the springtime I am home
For that is where I roam
