its getting to the point where i have to constantly blast the heater to keep the temperature down. any mechanic types out there have any clues as to what could be going wrong?
When is the car overheating? Is it doing it in traffic or on the open road?
If it is overheating in traffic, and not doing so when the car is being driven at speed, it most likely is a failure of the electric cooling fan. The cooling fan only comes on when the temperature reaches a certain point. When the car is moving, the airflow through the radiator cools the temperature without assistance. When the car is moving slowly or stopped, the fan is needed to provide the airflow.
One easy way to check the fan is to turn the A/C on and see if the fan comes on. If it does not, either the fan motor is bad, the fan relay has failed or there is a power issue to the fan.

Good Starter Cruiser?
Hi I am going to start riding soon and I was wondering a good starter cruising bike? Many people will probably say the Honda Rebel 250 but I am not so sure because my friend just recently started riding and got a rebel and he is ab out 5'9 and his legs look ridiculously cramped up when he is riding almost to the point of looking funny now I am 6'1 and would most definitely not fit can anyone suggest something with a little more room but not too much power? and not the buell blast either lol
At 6'1" you will definitely not be happy on a Rebel. V-Star 650 or Shadow 750 come in a variety of styles and are solid bikes and readily available. For your first one, look for a used bike that's good mechanically and don't worry about cosmetic appearance so much. That way if you make a mistake and drop it (most of us do as newbies) you won't care so much about scratches or dings. Good luck and be safe - you have taken MSF course, yes? Or will soon?

Bump the psu to 750 and ditch the water cooling. The PC10600 is a waste of money - DDR2 800 is much less expensive and will serve you almost as well. Spending as much as you can in order to get a 10% boost of processing power is foolish when you can get 90% for half the price.

My sister went on the 'Studs Afloat' cruise for a hens night a few years ago and had a ball, it's an all inclusive cruise with full buffet dinner, alcohol, games plus of course the male entertainment!
Each guest paid for themselves and everyone put in extra to cover the bride-to-be.
I think the prices would have changed from when she went, you would have to email them directly, one thing I would double check is that the 'hen' is comfortable with the idea, I have been to hens' nights where the bride was extremely shy and was mortified at being the target of a lap dance!
This type of cruise would definitely be one of the more expensive options but probably one of the more memorable!

Could this be a blown/cracked head gasket?
I have a 2001 PT Cruiser which is overheating. When I went to check the coolant it was sputtering brown rusty colored fluid out the top of the radiator where the cap is. I waited until it cooled down and looked inside the radiator. Brown chunks were floating around.
It seems to drive fine for about 5 or 10 minutes until it starts to get hot again and I have to pull over and let it cool down. Could this be a cracked head gasket or does my radiator just need to be flushed or some other sort of problem?
Well it doesn't look oily at all more like a brownish rusty color with a few white chunks mixed in.
Radiator needs a flush and you should ensure you have coolant/anti-corrosion additive next time.
Sounds like it is just plain water in there that is brown due to rust and the brown chunks are also rust.
If it still overheats after a flush you should try a new thermostat.
