The way I understand your question, the answer seems way too simple.
She is swimming NORTH from island A to island B when the fog rolls in. Since she is swimming NORTH, her azimuth has to be 000º. And since there is no mention of any current, then she needs to continue on azimuth 000º to reach island B. What puzzles me is why the other information is given when it is not needed?

There are a few different options.
You can buy anti-fog goggles; there is a spray you can spray in your goggles; as disgusting as it may sound, spit in your lenses.

Frame Anti Fog what is the best anti fog snowboard goggle? ?
i have been looking at the oakley a-frames and actually tried them on at the store but sadly i cant take them on the mountain with me. i have trouble with my goggles fogging up.
are there any goggles comparable if better than the a-frames?
and whats up with the regular and asian fit?

As for the fogging up you could try fixing it without buying a new pair of goggles,you could try a wax called Cat Crap or try a Smith Anti-fog Cloth. I've also heard of people wiping the inside of the goggles lense with dish soap than wait and let it dry with warm air, Supposedly that helps stop it from fogging up to.

I'm on a swim team and I want goggles that keep water out and are anti-fog, because the pair that I have now frequently gets water in them and I have to stop after every set I swim at practice to spit in them to unfog them.
So I've been looking at the Speedo Vanquisher goggles. Which pair do you think I should get?

The mirrored lenses are always fun because then competitors and coaches cannot see your eyes. Vanquishers are very good goggles and they will remain anti-fog for a while until they get old (when they start to fog a lot it is a sign that it is time to buy new goggles).Either one is fine, race wise it won't make a difference. Also, I agree with another answerer you really should buy them at a store if you can because then you will be certain they fit your face. If you are unable to do this that's fine, but that's what I recommend. Hope that helps!

Why does licking the inside of goggles' lenses act as an anti-fog?
At swimming, if the lenses of our goggles start to fog up, we just lick the inside of the lenses and they don't fog up again until water touches them. Why does this work?
Goggle-fog is actually a layer of thousands of tiny, individual droplets of water which, since each one acts as a near-spherical mini-lens, causes light to be scattered in all directions as it passes through them.
Each individual droplet forms because of the surface tension between the water molecules within that droplet. Surface tension is disrupted by detergents, like soap (or spit), allowing the droplets to flatten out and merge into a continuous, micro-thin layer of water across the entire goggle.
Since the 'multiple spherical lens' effect is therefore removed, your goggles will stay fog-free, at least until you dilute the spit/condensation mixture by rinsing the goggles in water again.
