Whats the schedule for a pro. rider or Olympic rider?
Like what kind of time do they wake up? How many lessons do they get a week? Just from sun up to sun down what kind of work do they do?
Most top riders are away competing a lot of the time - especially show jumpers. They will be up early although very few would be mucking out!
Grooms will get their horses ready and often warmed up before the pro rider gets on them. At the top level they will have many horses, several will be very green and the rider will often only ride them once or twice a week leaving the grooms to bring them on. this is often the same with lower class competitions, a designated rider will bring them through the lower levels.
I am not sure what you mean by lessons. These riders will often help each other but would not have lessons as such, Eventers and dressage riders will have an instructor for the dressage as it is vital to establish only the good things. At top level these riders know their horses better than anyone and so the jumping is left to them.
Top horses are rarely jumped at home over a course. They have no need to jump very much other than in competition. In the UK most horses are ridden out on the tracks and trails to relax and get them fit.
Oh, and in my book 7 A.M. is not early!
