How is it being a navy wife that's under age?

My husband is 20 and im 16 we been together since i was 12 and he was 15... we have a 2yr old daughter.. We gotten married nov. 2008 and he's leaving for boot camp july 20th and im nervous and was looking for some answers on how it is 2 be a navy wife??

AND I DON'T NEED ANY NEGATIVITY ABOUT OUR AGE DIFFERENCE..

I will tell you you are going to have a difficult time finding friends. Military wives tend to be judgemental bitches....therefore very few will hang out with a 16 year old who has a 2 year old ...I am 20 with a 5 month old and they all look down on me because "im so young". You more than likely won't be able to hang out with the girls your age because the mothers wont want their children having that kind of influence. Definitely look into getting some education if you have a ged try getting into a nursing program or something that you can more than likely get a job no matter where you go. Healthcare is a good field because its just about always in demand. While he is in bootcamp try to keep yourself busy....realize if he doesnt call you its not because he doesnt want to its because he can't. Realize however that this is only the beginning of the long seperations...Find out the best ways you can cope. If you are having issues coping your husband will have you enrolled into tricare..i think it takes a couple weeks tho..But after that you can look into counseling to help you find ways to cope with the seperation for your sake and your daughters. also there is an elmo dvd that may help your daughter http://submarinewife.wordpress.com/2007/04/04/elmo-deployment-dvd/
when your husband starts going on deployments and such.

Don't be afraid to tell him how you feel, dont make him afraid to tell you how he feels...Just make sure you both keep working at your marriage!

What is the age cutoff for Aviation Maintenance Duty Officer in the Navy?

I am reading though the application and instructions and it states that I must be commissioned by 35, which I will not be as I am 35 in October. It states that for the "restricted designations".
However, for the unrestricted designations it doesn't list an age cutoff.
Can someone who knows the answer to this please assist me!
I have just begun my 16th year in the Navy and an E-6. Thank you.

how far away does a boat have to be from a diver's flag in the water?

Well the first statement I found relates only to Colorado. In Colorado:

"The flag must be placed at or near the point of submergence and divers must stay within a 100-foot radius of the flag.

Vessels must keep a distance of 100 feet from the diver's flag. "

It seems to be the same distances in Wisconsin according to the first entry in the second link, but in the third entry it explains that in Michigan boaters have to stay 200 ft away from a diving flag.

Looks like it varies from state to state and country to country. Check out the second link below and maybe you can find the distance for your state.

In which direction does a flag fly in a sailing boat?

Let's assume that the wind blows from stern to bow, and the flag is at the top of the mast.

Does the flag fly to bow or to stern?

The flag ( ensign) will flow in the direction of the wind flow. If the wind is from the stern, the ensign will flow towards the bow. If from the port, then it will flow to the starboard. What may be confusing is to watch the sails and see the ensign in some other direction. The difference is the apparent wind direction and the actual wind direction. opinion on windsurfing board?

hey im thinking of buying my first watersurfing board (freestyle) and have come across a package it has a Bic Saxo freewave board and neil pryde sails,is the saxo board a good first board for freestyle?

Not nearly enough volume for a beginner (plus you can't use a board that small unless the wind is 17+ knots), there's no way to learn the basics of freestyle on a board less than 120 liters, and its a freeWAVE board. Waveboards take forever to plane and have quite a few other drawbacks, if you are not sailing waves I highly recommend you do NOT buy a waveboard. That, and the model is ten years old, you want something made within the last five years. There's nothing worse for beginning than having an old wave <100 L shortboard. You'll be miserable as f*ck and give up.

Your ideal board should:
be made after 2005
120 L (plus or minus about 10), assuming you can waterstart comfortably. 150 L if you can't. The more buoyancy the easier learning to freestyle is
Does NOT contain the word "wave"

EDIT: You already asked this once and I answered it, you said the board is 83 L and you cannot waterstart. I tried buying a 115 when I could not waterstart (about your weight as well), I couldn't even uphaul that without falling into the water. You need something at least 140 L.

EDIT EDIT: You've asked this three times and I'm the only windsurfer on here, you A.) aren't going to get another answer and B.) won't be able to ride this board and C.) this board would suck even if you could ride it and D.) even if the board was all right a freewave board isn't any good for the sailing you want to do anyway.

What boat to buy now for the summer? $4000-$12000?

I'm moving into a place on the lake with a dock. I've looking at three options for a boat:

1. Pontoon

2. 16-19ft I/O or outboard

3. Jet Boat

I'm mostly looking to just spend some quality time on the lake. I do like wakeboarding, but it seems that a wakeboard boat is very expensive. We typically won't have more then 5-6 people on the lake with us.

My fiance will like to mostly sunbathe.

My budget is $4000-$12000, any advice?

for 12K you can buy any of the above. a wakeboard tower is available after market to fit practically any boat. 6 friends and a sunbather sounds like a pontoon to me. you can really score with that much money...shop around. avoid the jet boat. real gas burners. lol.

Finding The Right Ski Boat Online For Sale

You can't beat a nice hot summer's day with the spray in your face and a fast boat beneath your feet - unless it's a fast pair of skis under your feet! Water skiing has been around for over 80 years now since Ralph Samuelson of Minnesota first tried a pair of snow skis and a rope attached to a boat.

To ski on water you not only need the right kind of skis, but also the right kind of boat. A good ski boat should have small wake and have nippy maneuverability and turning capability, and in this case biggest is not best. The best skiboats have inboard engines although it is not cast in stone, and while many people ski using general purpose deck ski boats, the best are purpose built.

Australia has a variety of ski boats for sale since there are so many of them and quite frankly they tend to all be great boats. It would be easier to single out those slightly less fabulous than the rest than to pick the best, and you can't go by price. Australia is a country popularfor water skiing, and they know how to build the right ski boats to do the job.

If we were to name a few, then of the popular skiboat ranges in Australia, Lewis must be amongst the most favoured, being one of the major ski boat builders in the world. Lewis ski boats are often found anyway popular for water sking, built by Australia’s oldest manufacturer.

A lightweight fiberglass ski boat for sale, the Lewis range have come along way from the earlier wooden hull. Even though the internal stringer system is normally made of wood, Lewis boats for sale are are fast and have the maneuverability need for a great ski. The 2280 and Revolution are typical of the Lewis range with their zippy Mercruiser engines that produce a small wake at speed for a smooth slalom ride, and nice big wake for wakeboarding at lower speeds.

Their well designed towers for wakeboarding can be pimped any way you like them, with speakers, lights and board racks. However, the disadvantage in a dual purposeski boat or wakeboarding vessel is that you can get a rougher ride on skis. It isn't always ideal to have a dual purpose boat, but if you enjoy both sports then you should get enough performance from a good ski and wakeboarding boat to satisfy you. If it's great performance you are seeking, then purchase a specialist boat.

Bayliner is another boat builder with very popular skiboats in the 16 - 22 foot range The Bowrider 205 is typical of a great skiboat with a 220 hp Mercuiser engine. This ski boat comes with storage area in the floor for skisand great sound system from its stereo controller that allows you fit a a number of different sound systems. Building boats for over 40years Bayliner has the experience to know how to build good boats. These boats are quality, and respond to the helm perfectly. With rapid acceleration, they can also turn on a cent piece, and are perfect for skiing.

Crownline boats are for the boating enthusist that likes a bit more power. These boats exude class and quality, and the Bowrider 240LS is great for skiing. You can choose your colour and your Mercedes engine up to a maximum 425 horse power. Add to that an optional fantastic Social Swim Transom® entertainment system, and a head with sink and shower, and this baby is great for all day fun. If you prefer a deckboat to a bowrider for your skiing, then the Crownline 252 EX has similar appointments with similar outboard engine, and a Sony Marine sound system as normal. Crownline may be a little more expensive but you pay for quality and one of the best ski boats for sale. Once more, though, they are multi-purpose and while very popular with the mid range ski boat skier they are not specialist ski boats.

For a championship specialist ski boat, then Skicraft might be the one you are looking for. Skicraft, based in Bayswater, have been manufacture championship skiboats since 1969, offering very reliable turning and maneuverability, but is also very safe. From the smooth and steady 202 to the new V-Drive eXV Skicraft are true competition boats. The ExV is an updated model of the popular eX2, with a good weight design allowing you to switch from wakeboarding to skiing with a turn of a switch.

Skicraft commonly build specialist boats, and the V-Drive is generally better for wakeboarding. However, wakeboarding boats for sale can be pricey because they have to be heavier to produce a good wake. With there own developed wake control technology, with Skicraft you can alter the size of the wake to swop between skiing and wakeboarding, and all at a price well below that of a purpose-built wakeboarding boat.

However, the boat that everybody is waiting to see is the new Mustang. Since being taken over by new owners, Mustang is back, and is going from strength to strength. Their most recent boat, still to be unveiled, is the Mustang 2008 430 Sports Coupe. How good this will be for ski boat we don't know, but it is equipped with Volvo IPS 600 engines as standard, with 418 HP each so is going to be prompt enough.

These are among the more popular skiboat ranges around Australia, but there are many more and it would take several pages to do justice to even a fraction of them.
