When it comes to swimming, prescription glasses users always face a dilemma – whether to dive in without wearing a pair of prescription glasses or to find a practical solution to help you stay safe in the water?
The good news is that while swimming you will only need distance correction glasses. And it is alright if these distance correction glasses are not exact as your regular pair of prescription glasses. It is safe to assume that you'll be swimming for short periods of time, so if you are not able to see finer details then it shouldn't be a cause for concern. It is a common phenomenon that vision in the water is not as good as it is in the air. In the light of above incidents, it will be safe to assume that any solution for swimming will cost you less than a duplicate pair of glasses.
Among the countless choices present which can offer you clear vision while swimming, you have to choose the one which suits you the most. Your decision will also be dependent on the amount of time you are willing to spend at water. Obviously, the choice will differ from a potential swimmer preparing to enter into competitions to a casual swimmer planning to float few rounds in the swimming pool.

i dont know that much about it, am i supposed to wear a speedo or are boardshorts cool if your going to the communtiy center, should i have a swim cap and goggles? you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you want, but if you are serious about lap swimming I would suggest a speedo. Board shorts drag like crazy. Try swimming with both and you will see. If you don't like a speedo, you can't get a square cut or the new type called a jammer. Personally, it is easier just to wear a speedo brief because you have more motion (at least it seems). As for cap and goggles. Depends on whether you have short or long hair. Goggles, probably yes.

using a mild acid (like white vinegar or lemon) will help also try using a little table salt, it provides a mild abrasive to really get the brown muck off.

Swim Goggles Speed what are the best indoor goggles to buy?
starting this week I'm going to be swimming three hours a day...I need to buy some comfortable indoor swimming goggles...I like the Speedo Speed Socket's, and the Vanquishers but I'm not sure how the visibility would be indoors with them.
